Drybrush Watercolor Painting by Raleigh NC Fine Artist
One of my largest drybrush paintings. I saw this driftwood on the Hilton Head beach earlier this year. Ideal subject for drybrush painting. I started this painting before Christmas and then got real sick so had to wait almost a week before I could finish it. I used limited palette of just 4-5 colors on a heavy weight paper. Many of my new paintings in 2013 will be on full sheet watercolor paper. I will also be doing figurative work. My first show will be at the Cotton Company in Wake Forest. I am also excited about new inquiries for wedding paintings- for live as well as studio commissions. I am hoping to get more of those commissions in 2013. I will be writing more on that unique service later…
